Pop superstar Halsey is featured in a first look at the upcoming slasher/horror movie, MaXXXine, a sequel to A24’s X and Pearl.
“The life she deserves,” reads A24’s caption along with the first look on social media. Mia Goth, who reprises her role as Maxine Minx, is feature alongside Halsey.
MaXXXine marks Halsey’s second movie appearance following their debut in the crime film Americana.
In addition to Halsey, the project features Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Monaghan and Lily Collins, along with Moses Sumney, Bobby Cannavale, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.
MaXXXine is written and directed by Ti West. It is the third and final instalment in the X trilogy.
In the movie, Maxine Minx, who being the only survivor of the events of “Massacre of X,” moves to Los Angeles in the early 1980s to pursue her dream of becoming a famous actress.
