Janet Jackson To Release Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition Of ‘janet.’

Janet Jackson has announced a deluxe edition of Janet. to mark the 30th anniversary her 1993 multi-platinum album.

The deluxe edition of Jackson’s fifth studio album, to be released by Virgin/UMe on July 7, will be available in two-disc CD and three-LP set formats.

Each version includes all the original tracks, plus alternative mixes and remixes of four tracks: “You Want This (Remix),” Where Are You Now (Nellee Hooper Mix),” “Because Of Love (Muggs 7? With Bass Intro)” and That’s The Way Love Goes (CJ R&B 7? Mix).”

The special edition will also be available on all streaming platforms.

The original album was a big hit shortly after its release on May 18, 1993, selling 350,000 copies in the United States in its first week.

Janet. debuted at No.1 in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia.

Jackson is currently on the Together Again North American tour, spread over 33 cities.
