Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Guts’ Debuts Atop Billboard 200

Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Guts’ Debuts Atop Billboard 200

Olivia Rodrigo‘s latest album Guts has debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart.

The multi-platinum, three-time Grammy award-winning artist’s second studio album starts with 302,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the September 8-14 charting week, according to Luminate.

Guts was released on September 8 via Geffen Records to critical acclaim.

One of the most highly awaited albums of the year, Guts arrived as the follow-up to Rodrigo’s 4x Platinum 2021 full-length debut album Sour. Sour also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Two tracks from Guts – “Vampire” and “Bad Idea Right?” – are ranked second and third, respectively, on the latest U.K. singles chart.

“Vampire” had debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Guts is followed by BTS artist V‘s first solo studio album, Layover, at No. 2, Zach Bryan‘s self-titled album at No. 3, Morgan Wallen‘s One Thing at a Time at No. 4, Travis Scott‘s Utopia at No. 5, and SZA‘s SOS at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart dated September 23.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units.
