Sabrina Carpenter has scored her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Please Please Please.”
A week after making its debut at No. 2, “Please Please Please” topped the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart dated June 29.
The song was released on June 6 through Island Records, as the second single from Carpenter’s upcoming sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet.
Carpenter performed the song during her set at New York’s Governors Ball a day after its release.
For the second consecutive week, the single dominates the Streaming Songs chart.
Carpenter’s only other single to enter the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 is “Espresso,” ranked No. 3 on the June 22 chart.
The 25-year-old singer and actress is set to kick off her 29-date Short n’ Sweet Tour in Columbus, Ohio, on September 23.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
