Springsteen, Bon Jovi Urge New Jerseyans To Wear Masks On New Billboard

Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi are urging their fellow New Jerseyans to wear masks to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Yesterday, Springsteen tweeted out a photo of a billboard of the two of rock legends along with comedian Jon Stewart, in which the trio are wearing masks with a caption saying “Wear a friggin mask.”

The billboard is a joint creation by the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund and the New Jersey Department of Health.

“Teamed up with some fellow New Jerseyans to encourage everyone this holiday season to wear a friggin’ mask. Let’s all come together and #MaskUpNJ so we can get back to what we do best – singing along and dancing together,” Springsteen tweeted.

He tagged New Jersey governor Phil Murphy, the state’s first lady Tammy Murphy and the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.
