The Chicks Reschedule, Cancel Additional Shows Due To Ongoing Illness

The Chicks Reschedule, Cancel Additional Shows Due To Ongoing Illness

The Chicks have rescheduled another tour date and canceled an upcoming show due to ongoing illness within the band.

In a tour update on Instagram on Tuesday, The Chicks wrote, “Due to an ongoing illness, we regret that we must reschedule our show at Merriweather Post Pavilion and cancel our show at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.”

Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer were scheduled to perform in Columbia, Maryland, on Wednesday, but postponed the show to September 20.

The all-women band also the canceled Thursday’s show in Bethel, New York.

The Chicks promised to honor the tickets for the Maryland show on the rescheduled date. Bethel concertgoers will get a refund for the tickets.

The Chicks had postponed three shows of their World Tour 2023 last month, citing undisclosed illness.

The country trio did not specify the sickness or who in the band was sick.
