Miley Cyrus Pays Tribute To Late Grandmother With Touching Instagram Post

Miley Cyrus Pays Tribute To Late Grandmother With Touching Instagram Post

Miley Cyrus paid tribute to her late grandmother by posting a touching tribute on Instagram.

“Even though you are gone…. NOTHING has or ever will change. You will FOREVER be my inspiration and fashion icon,” Cyrus wrote, accompanied by a mix of past photos and videos.

“Even more than that the ultimate model of being a true LIGHT in a dark world. You are sunshine. Everyday I wake and see that fiery ball in the sky I will see your face. Then say a prayer thanking heaven above for giving me the best grandmother a girl could ever be gifted,” the pop singer added.

The 27-year-old “Midnight Sky” singer promised to keep her grandma’s spirit in the world by continuing to do good for others and “treating them the way we all desire to be treated.”

Cyrus announced the death of her maternal grandmother Loretta “Mammie” Finley on social media on August 22 without revealing the cause.
