Halloween 2020

A new survey by the National Retail Federation reveals that just 58% of people are going to celebrate Halloween this year. Other findings:

– The average person will spend $91.12 on Halloween this year up from $86.27 last year.

– 46% of people plan to wear a costume this year. That’s down 1% from last year

– 22% of people plan to throw a Halloween party this year. That’s down from 32% last year

– 62% of people plan to hand out candy on Halloween. That’s down from 69% last year

– 15% of people plan to visit a haunted house this year. That’s down from 22% last year

– 23% of people plan to go trick-or-treating this year. That’s down from 29% last year
