Carrie Underwood‘s first holiday album, My Gift, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Holiday Albums Chart.
The album claims the top spot shortly after its release on September 25 via Capitol Nashville.
43,000 equivalent album units were sold in the United States in the week ending October 1, Nielsen Music/MRC Data shows.
My Gift also made its debut on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, ranked at No. 8.
The album features the 37-year-old singer-songwriter singing “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “O Holy Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” along with a duet with John Legend on “Hallelujah.” Her son Isaiah Fisher is featured on “Little Drummer Boy.”
As usual, the Top Holiday Albums chart returned to ahead of the season in October.
