Taylor Swift Auctioning Signed Guitar To Raise Funds For COVID-19 Relief

Taylor Swift is auctioning off her personally inscribed black 2018 Gibson acoustic guitar to raise funds for COVID-19 relief.

The guitar she used while playing “Betty” at the Academy of Country Music Awards last month is expected to auction off for $25,000-$40,000.

Christies’ online auction titled “NASHVILLE: An Auction to Benefit ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund” will continue until October 29.

Also up for auction is a semi-hollow Gibson guitar that Bradley Cooper used for filming of A Star Is Born in 2018 alongside Lady Gaga.

These are in addition to the auctioning of Dolly Parton‘s Swarovski-crystal bedazzled four-string dulcimer, which she owned for three decades.

“Seeing my country music community suffer due to the pandemic has broken my heart,” the country music legend said in a statement.

“What do @taylorswift13’s gibson acoustic guitar and @DollyParton’s dulcimer have in common? They’re among items that are part of @ChristiesInc’s “Nashville: An Auction To Benefit ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund” from Oct 15-29 on http://christies.com/Nashville,” ACM Awards said on Twitter.
