Miley Cyrus has revealed that she is working on a Metallica covers album.

“We’ve been working on a Metallica cover album and I’m here working on that,” Miley told Rick Owens for Interview Magazine. “We’re so lucky to be able to continue to work on our art during all of this. At first, it felt uninspiring and now I’ve been totally ignited.”

Cyrus has been a fan of the rock band and has covered Metallica several times in past. She had covered Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” at Glastonbury Festival last year.

Most recently, Cyrus also covered The Cure and The Cranberries during the Save Our Stages virtual festival.
